- - Seven of Nine, 2375
Seven of Nine (full Borg designation: Seven of Nine, Tertiary Adjunct of Unimatrix 01) was a Human female who was a former Borg drone. She was born Annika Hansen on stardate 25479 (2350), the daughter of eccentric exobiologists Magnus and Erin Hansen. She was assimilated by the Borg in 2356 at age six, along with her parents, but was liberated by the crew of the USS Voyager in 2374. She joined the crew and after a difficult start she fell in love with her captain, Kathryn Janeway, whom she later married. Her relationship with Janeway would have a profound influence on her life. Through the relationship Seven later even joined Starfleet to insure she would always be able to work and travel along with her wife. She returned to the Alpha Quadrant with the starship in 2378. On Earth she worked with Leah Brahms' Theoretical Propulsion Group for a year. She was recruited by Section 31 to destroy the Orion Syndicate under the subterfuge of saving her wife. Seven later became the Chief Science Officer on the USS Millennium. Seven was one of the scientists instrumental in developing the ships experimental Slipstream Drive.
